What do I do now?

If any of you read my blog or Babbling Randomness with http://thomasmccool.blogspot.com/, then you'll know that I got my A level results on Thursday.

I managed to get 3 B's, which at A level, I'm quite proud of my grades. I knew that I didn't need very high grades to get into my course but I still tried. Obviously this worked out for the best and I'm in.

HOWEVER!

I now have a new dilemma. I need to be at uni for the 22nd for enrolment. So, the give myself a few days to settle into my new surroundings I aim to be in London for the 18/19th of September. Much to my dismay, my room isn't ready until the 26th of September. Where the flaming hell am I supposed to stay until then?

I've contacted the uni to let them know, I've contacted the company that controls the housing I'm looking into and so far I've good nada back. The best advice I've got it for me to contact the company.

I have about 3 weeks to sort this out before I have a nervous breakdown about not having anywhere to stay. So, just as a wee warning if you're in London in the middle of September, you might see me sleeping in front of HMV or begging for a blanket in front of Maccy D's

It draws ever closer.

It is now 00:42 on 08/08/2011. Which means there are only 10 days left until my A level results come out. I'm not too worried about these bad boys. I think I worked pretty hard for my exams (all 3 of them) and did a very fine job on all of my coursework. Ok, that sounds quite big headed, but compared to the last 2 sets of important exams I've had to do - AS levels and GCSE's I worked like a beast for the A levels.

I think the fact that I need C C E to get into uni kinda takes away most of the pressure, but I'd still like to do well. I don't want to think that all my word for the past year was wasted. I know I'm odd, the simple fact is I like doing well academically. I R NERD! HERE ME ROAR!!!

I guess I'll update on the 18th and let you all know how I did. Not that you care :P

Ta ta for now :D

The end

It's come and gone. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has been released and I have seen it.
It's officially the end. I have no excuses now. I R GROWNUP!

I was so excited to finally see Harry triumph over Voldermort that I momentarily forgot to be sad that it was over. As a true nerd, I saw the movie the day it came out. Alex took and wasn't too ashamed to sit beside me while I cuddled my hand knitted Dobby toy and cried my way through 2 hours and 10 minutes of sheer awesome. I think he kind of understood how emotionally attached I've become to HP. To borrow a phrase from 'Whip It' I had a fat kid sits inside and reads a book phase, so I was pretty much married to the HP books.

I will admit that I'm over my wee breakdown - HP ended and I nearly died. I'm over it now, it's all good. I'll find something else to occupy my obsessive side. Maybe, finally, fitness will prevail for once :P

Summer To Do

Well I guess it's officially my summer holiday's and I've decided to make a wee list of things to do before I go to uni.

Obviously the top of the list is keeping in line with myother blogs - losing some weight. So here it goes.

1. Lose 2 stone before I head to uni (keep this going while at uni)
2. Pass my driving test
3. Get a job
4. Use money from afore mentioned job to buy new jeans

At the minute that's all I've got, I may add more if I can think of anything worth going on the list.
Til then cherry bye!

So, this is a sort of follow up report to my recent blog about my new outlook on life. Unfortunately, it's not going so well. The dieting part is swell, the exercising part isn't too hot. I have generally lacked the motivation to get off my arse and go do some exercise, this plus the fact that the other than walking it is usually very costly to go and do some exercise.

I thoroughly believe that if I had a partner the exercise would be easier to actually do. Finding said company however, is a different story. The boyfriend is always far too busy with his little world to even consider going for a nice walk and has developed a lovely habit of ignoring my texts (this I fear is a separate problem altogether). My friends also have an uncanny ability to be unavailable every single time you would like to speak to them or even contemplate partaking in some sort of activity.

I know that if I'm truly determined to lose the weight and eventually get all skinny and sexy then I'll be able to do it by myself. I just wish that there was a bit of support from someone who isn't on the other side of the world.
